An ETA is a electronic travel authorization that allows eligible travelers to enter Srilanka for tourism, business, transit purposes, eliminating the need to visit an embassy or consulate. The entire process — including form submission, document upload, and payment — is completed online. Once approved, the ETA is emailed as a PDF, which can be printed or saved for presentation at the airport or designated entry points. This efficient system reduces paperwork and accelerates processing, making travel planning easier than ever.
